Chicago Pulp Stories

Chicago Pulp Stories is a quarterly literary magazine based in Chicago that hearkens back to the days when the written word was a portal into other worlds, a time when stories—broadly told or narrowly focused—opened the minds of readers to the possibilities of what was, what is, and what could be.
There were fiction magazines for every interest and stories to match. These publications were filled with works by writers like Nelson Algren, Langston Hughes, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Ernest Hemingway, and Zora Neale Hurston.

We're dedicated to giving their modern counterparts a place to publish work that will become the classics of the future. We publish exclusive content in the magazine four times a year and feature quality stories on our Content page every month.

There is nothing cheap about the stories that appear here, the name pulp is merely an homage to the humble beginnings of fiction magazines.
